Apostolic Lighthouse of Downey is a welcoming,
family-focused church with a heart for our community and a passion for Jesus. We are Bible-believing, growth-minded, and prayer-driven. Our desire is to help people know Jesus, grow in faith, build meaningful relationships, and live according to God's Word.
Our Leadership
Apostolic Lighthouse of Downey is pastored by Jonathan Moreno, alongside his wife, Elizabeth Moreno. Together, they serve the church with a heart for people, a commitment to biblical truth, and a desire to see individuals and families grow in their relationship with Jesus.
Pastor Moreno has been licensed with the UPCI since 2006. He has a heart for global missions and has made several international trips to Mexico, Turkey, Greece, Spain, the Philippines, and Italy.
Sister Elizabeth Moreno is a soul winner with a heart for people. Her strengths are prayer and fasting, and she has been involved in several successful business endeavors. Together, she and her husband share a passion to see the Kingdom of God advanced.

The Bible
The Bible is the infallible Word of God and the authority for salvation and Christian living.

God
There is one God, who has revealed Himself as our Father, in His Son Jesus Christ, and as the Holy Spirit. Jesus Christ is God manifested in flesh. He is both God and man.

Sin and Salvation
Everyone has sinned and needs salvation. Salvation comes by grace through faith based on the atoning sacrifice of Jesus Christ.

The Gospel
The saving gospel is the good news that Jesus died for our sins, was buried, and rose again. We obey the gospel through repentance, water baptism in the name of Jesus Christ, and receiving the Holy Spirit.

Christian Living
As Christians, we are called to love God and others, live according to God's Word, and worship Jesus joyfully. We believe the supernatural gifts of the Spirit, including healing, are active in the church today.

The Future
We believe Jesus Christ is coming again. We believe in the resurrection, final judgment, and eternal life.
